Recruitment

NECS Works is a service run by NECS (North East Counselling Services CIC). NECS has a team of over 50 counselling practitioners with specialist expertise across the full range of therapeutic practice. With this register of qualified practitioners and trainee counsellors we are able to shape our service delivery to fit our clients’ needs.
If you are interested in joining us and helping us to help local businesses deal with mental health issues in the workplace we have a number of opportunities to join us.

NECS Works Sessional Opportunities:

Counselling is a flexible career which works around counsellors’ availability. North East Counselling Services hold a register of sessional (self-employed) practitioners who can be called upon to deliver services on our behalf as the demand dictates. If you are interested or are self-employed to be part of the NECS Works team please do not hesitate to get in touch. For further information please contact our Business Development Manager, Carol Walker, by email sending your CV and a little bit about yourself outlining your counselling interests and experience to carol@necsworks.org.uk

All employees, sessional staff, are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosures and required to provide two references before commencing any work with the organisation. They are professionally supervised and work within the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice. They are also required to participate in on-going training and development to ensure exacting professional standards are met.
